SALN and WAIVER

The waiver is in the SALN itself, the ombudsman can look into, the amlc can assist with dollar accounts if there is a complaint against any public official or employee.... Why are we making such a big deal out of these?  The Media shouldn't make public the SALN or waivers...... Government Officials have  their own families to protect too. CJ CORONA  was on trial, because he casted doubts to people. I completely understand the sentiments of other people that Most Gov't official does not declare everything too, but lets just wait till they are on trial or just  simply don't vote for them if you do not trust them. SALNs are made available to the public whoever wants to look at them, but maybe we should be considerate about publishing it and making an issue out of it. Amendments to the laws are important now, so they cannot hide behind a law and make it an excuse for their wrong doing. Let the Ombudsman do her job and all those in doubt can simply file a case there. Its that easy... Its makes its very complicated if we judge them on Who signed / Who didn't ... it will just lead to The One who signed is honest or maybe he just wants to be re-elected and the other side is the corrupt or hidding something.... it will not end. If we don't move forward. We must see the conviction of Corona as a brand new start for everyone, that they should be more careful....and truthful otherwise they will have the same fate as CJ CORONA. Let us move forward.

The Constitution

I beg to disagree that Only a Lawyer could understand and interpret the constitution.... The Constitution is drafted for the "Common Tao " to understand, not by just lawyers.... How can we say that IGNORANCE of the LAW is not an excuse, when other people are saying that Only they (lawyers) can understand it. The Constitution is for the entire nation to respect, obey and understand. I might not be as easy as they do, but please do not tell us that we have no right to understand it.

Would Midas Marquez , declare his dollar accounts in his SALN , if he has any ? did he declare everything there ?  I am just wondering if all Corona supporters in the Supreme Court have the same interpretation of the law like xCJ Corona.... because they believed in him.

He seems to be a nice guy, really! , and he seemed to have performed well during the past administration as a Court Administrator, only now that He is tainted with the impression of being an ally of  xCJ CORONA, and people think that as a spoke person he was speaking for the Chief Justice ( with a couple of personal opinions)  and not for the Court .

Rather than asking " ARE YOU WILLING TO SIGN A WAIVER ? " ,  maybe its better to ask them " If they have Foreign Currency Deposits, would they declare it in their SALNs ?"

I use to like Senator Miriam, because she's like  a walking Rules of the Court, and yes she is intelligent. Only that when I saw her on the trial, I felt bad, when I heard her insulting the prosecution, maybe she could do it in a nicer way, like SPJPE does. She wants respect and yet she doesn't respect other people...  and I was really shocked on D-DAY, omg, how she insulted almost everyone including her fellow judges.

Now , I believe in the saying " THE MORE YOU KNOW, THE LESS YOU UNDERSTAND!"

The Senate President

From the very start of the hearing I really admire the 88 year old Senate President, he is really a man with principles and he is very credible....and kind.  He handled the Impeachment trial very well. Imagine , at his age he is still very sharp, he knows what he is talking about, he knows the law, and he imposes it, even if at times he is very liberal but he will not allow disrespect to the court. He also has a sense of humor. Highest Respects for SPJPE...

I am just a plain housewife and watching the impeachment trial made me aware of some things.

Now that he is convicted and gone then all of the Corrupt people in the government would think twice before doing anything wrong,  and when they are afraid they will start doing the right thing. Because its really hard to hide everything and now they know that It can really be discovered.....  It would be a good start for everyone.

Having said that, I want everyone to realize that each one of us is corrupt in our little ways and  for these things to end we should start from our own homes, to the politicians and the rest follows. Lets make the conviction of the Chief Justice a Brand New Start For Everyone. Lets Move On..... better Move FORWARD !!!!
